Tappist is a touch style band featuring Dave Kneeves on Megatar and Joe Purrenhage on drums. The Megatar is a 12 string touch style instruments providing the full range of sounds from bass to guitar on a single neck. Dave Kneeves has mastered a unique style on the instrument blending jazz and melodic rock as well as incorporating sounds and effects to provide a wide pallet of music moods. Joe provides a rhythmic base and tightly integrates with the tapping style provided by the Megatar.
